The most effective trick to eliminate flies and perfume the entire kitchen

Despite a very short life cycle of about 28 days, flies can literally invade our homes, especially the kitchen, becoming very annoying and dangerous due to the bacteria and other microorganisms that can spread to our food.

The problem of indoor flies is particularly evident during the warmer months, when high temperatures favor their proliferation.

There are dozens of fly and mosquito repellent sprays available in supermarkets, but they are all loaded with chemicals that, while they keep these annoying insects away, are harmful to both our health and the environment.

The most well-known and effective remedy for getting rid of flies in the house and making the kitchen smell nice is actually completely natural and can be prepared in just a few minutes.

It involves cutting a lemon in half and inserting about ten cloves into the pulp. Place the remedy on a windowsill, balcony, or anywhere else flies frequent.

Ideally, you should add a new lemon every day to take full advantage of its repellent properties.

Other remedies to keep flies away

Bags full of water  . We’ve probably noticed bags full of water on balconies or windows, and wondered what they were for. This remedy is an effective natural fly repellent. The reason is simple: when the sun’s rays penetrate the water, they create a prism that flies hate.

Apple cider vinegar  . To make a fly trap, cut a plastic bottle in half, pour vinegar into the bottom, then turn the top upside down, like a funnel. Flies, attracted by the vinegar, will enter the bottle and get stuck.

Aromatic plants  . The aroma of certain essential oils and plants such as lavender, mint, lemongrass, basil, or eucalyptus have natural repellent properties. Simply sprinkle a little essential oil around the house or plant some seedlings to keep flies away.
